Andy Adams
Andy is an experienced leadership coach, trainer, and former UK senior police officer with over 30 years of experience in developing people and leading teams through complex and critical challenges. He has coached and mentored at Board, Director, and Executive levels and holds a Master’s-level membership with the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC).
His career spans law enforcement, the military, the civil service, healthcare, and the private sector, with a strong focus on transformation, change management, and authentic leadership. He has led on change and ‘turnaround’, and supported senior leaders through significant transformation and cultural change, primarily driven by a desire to promote efficiency savings as part of a strategic organisational development/design plan.
Andy has designed and delivered leadership and project management programmes for UK law enforcement, the military, the Civil / Public Service, and NHS England and Wales. He supported critical care teams during the pandemic whilst developing service improvement initiatives and creating a Programme approach to demonstrably evidence-based, cost-releasable savings. He has been deployed abroad by HM Government and continues to work internationally, particularly across the Middle East, monthly. He brings learning to life through a rich lived experience, ensuring learning transfer and high yield for organisations.
He was recognised with an MBE in 2013 for services to law enforcement and public protection, a Companion of the Institute of Leadership in 2019 and was part of the Welsh Government’s Centre for Digital Public Services Advisory Panel upon inception in 2020. In 2025, he was recognised as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
