Delivery Associate

Salary

£28,000

Location

Swansea, Wales

If you have a good degree, want to do work that matters, and are ready to base yourself in Wales to do it, this role is worth your time.

Perago is a transformation consultancy based in Swansea. We work with organisations including Welsh Government, NHS Wales, local authorities and central UK government to help them change, and improve and deliver better services for the people who use them. Our team is small, experienced and trusted, and we are looking for a graduate to join us on the delivery side of that work.

What this role actually involves

This is not a research role or a support function. You will work as part of live delivery teams on real client programmes from the start. That means sitting in the room when difficult decisions are being made, helping clients track and manage complex change, and contributing to the kind of work that ends up shaping how organisations are run.

Over time, as you build your skills and confidence, you will take on more responsibility, leading elements of delivery, managing workstreams and developing your own client relationships.

What the work looks like day to day

  • Managing programme documentation, tracking progress, risks and dependencies
  • Supporting client workshops and engagement sessions
  • Contributing to reporting that keeps leadership and clients properly informed
  • Helping to coordinate delivery teams, including colleagues across Perago and associate consultants
  • Working on client materials – presentations, briefings, recommendations
  • Supporting the commercial management of engagements

What we are looking for

We do not mind what you studied. We are looking for someone who thinks clearly, writes well and takes their work seriously. Specifically:

  • A good degree (2:1 or above) from any discipline
  • Strong written communication – clear, confident, adaptable
  • Organised, methodical, and able to take ownership without being chased
  • Comfortable working in teams and with ambiguity
  • Genuinely interested in how organisations work and how they can be improved
  • Some experience of structured, team-based work this could be through placements, volunteering or otherwise

Why Swansea, why Perago

A lot of graduates from Wales end up in London by default, not because it is the right choice but because it is the obvious one. This role is for someone who wants to build a serious career in Wales and who can see that the work available here is interesting, consequential and well worth doing.

Perago punches well above its size. We work on national programmes, alongside major government departments and NHS bodies, and our clients trust us with work that is genuinely complex. The career path from this role is real, several of our current senior team started in roles like this one.

The package

  • £28,000 salary
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays plus a day off for your birthday!
  • Pension: 5% employee, 3% employer
  • Salary sacrifice scheme (post probation period): electric vehicles and bikes
  • Hybrid working with on-site presence as client work requires
  • Flexible start date

Send a CV and a short cover note (no more than one page) to careers@perago.co.uk. Tell us what draws you to this kind of work and why you want to be based in Wales. We will get back to everyone who applies.
