Perago is now a living wage employer

A commitment to fair pay and local talent

Perago is now a Living Wage-accredited employer.

This accreditation is more than a milestone—it reflects our values and commitment to doing business in a way that supports people, communities, and the future of work in Wales. At Perago, everyone deserves to earn a wage that meets the real cost of living. That’s why we’ve taken this step to ensure that every team member is paid fairly for their work. We’re proud to be part of a growing movement of employers across the UK who are choosing to go beyond the government minimum and pay a real living wage. For us, it’s about creating good jobs that support people to live well, not just get by.

Supporting Talent in Swansea

Our roots are firmly in Wales, and we’re especially focused on creating opportunities in Swansea. Over the past few years, we’ve built a team that includes Swansea University graduates who hadn’t originally planned to stay in the city after finishing their studies. By offering meaningful work, professional development, and fair pay, we’re helping to retain talent in the Region and contribute to a thriving local economy.

We know that when people are paid fairly, they’re more secure, motivated, and able to contribute to their communities. That’s why this accreditation matters to us—not just as a business, but as part of a wider ecosystem of employers who want to see Wales flourish.

Dave Floyd, Director of Operation at Perago, led the work to secure our accreditation and shared his thoughts on what this means for us:

“Becoming a Living Wage employer is more than just a badge—it’s about doing the right thing. We want Perago to be a place where people are valued, supported, and paid fairly for the work they do. This is a step forward in making that a reality, and I’m proud to have played a part in it.”

We’re excited about what this means for our team and for the future of work in Wales. We hope our journey encourages other employers—especially in the creative services and digital sectors—to join the Living Wage movement.
