Service Designer

Seb has six years of experience working as a designer creating user-centred designs in the form of mobile app & web prototypes as well as live webpages. More recently he has been using his skills to conduct in depth discoveries and provide actionable recommendations based on the findings, as well as helping to define, develop and deliver these recommendations. 

Seb’s ability to conduct effective user research and provide meaningful insights has supported change programmes and service design in the public sector. 

Key achievements

Provided primary and secondary research and workshop facilitation to a local authority to create and launch a transformation programme to deliver £65m of savings over 4 years while improving services to residents. The programme delivered £20m of auditable savings in the first year of delivery with a roadmap for a further £45m savings.  

Created user-centered designs for various portals using HTML and CSS, and organised content using content management systems for a local authority. 

Managed and updated webpages for a local authority’s main website, using tools like Flaticon, Pexels, Photoshop, and Canva. 

Led a team to produce a web application prototype for a London-based startup, including designing wireframes, analysing user research, and creating clickable prototypes using Adobe XD, HTML, and CSS. 

As part of a small team at an Oxfordshire-based studio, conducted user research and produced various UX deliverables, leading to the creation and testing of a mobile health app prototype using Adobe XD.
