Iago is a senior consultant with more than 14 years’ experience in leading change communications for global organisations across multiple sectors.
His speciality is in helping organisations to communicate effectively during periods of complex and significant change. He is passionate about the role organisational culture plays in delivering successful change initiatives, whether large transformation programmes that strengthen alignment and improve performance or creative campaigns that drive adoption.
He has delivered change communications programmes for three separate multi-billion-dollar joint ventures in the Middle East, Africa and Europe, working closely with senior stakeholders to develop approaches that built understanding, ensured engagement, and resonated with the people that mattered.
His extensive experience from across different communications functions, in PR, internal comms and brand strategy, ensures he brings a strategic perspective to developing and executing workstreams.
Key achievements
→ Supported the adoption of new imaging platform for a global healthcare-provider, reframing the overarching narrative from one of efficiency to end-user benefits with accompanying tailored messaging, based on developed personas.
→ Delivered a creative multi-communications campaign to get employees to “Love our Data” for a leading energy company. Engagement levels exceeded the success of every other internal comms campaigns.
→ Identified barriers and presented recommendations for embedding a stronger HSE culture at a global pharmaceutical company, through qualitative and quantitative employee research.
→ Repositioned the brand of a global leader in energy infrastructure by co-creating the strategy for renaming the company and its narrative in the market, as it pivoted to meet the needs of the energy transition.
